Heather entered the second floor's lounge after a long day of hunting. Her feet hurt, so she sat on one of the brown leather sofas, she took off her boots and rested her feet on the coffee table. The lady of the forest gave notice to her surroundings. Beside her sat Unknown reading a compilation of poems by T.S. Eliot. On the armchair nearby sat Joe, very entertained while playing a portable gaming device. By the furthest corner where Blade and Daemon discussing battle tactics. Heather was pleased to see the boys getting along. But was surprised to see the blue wizard act nonchalantly toward the demon slayer, as if she hadn't realized his presence in the room. Blade sent a smile toward Heather, but kept talking to Daemon. The lady of the forest reciprocated and decided it was about time to interact with Unknown.
-"Poetry, huh?"- Heather muttered as she peered at the book. Ana nodded in response. As the wizard finished reading the last verse, she closed the book and joined her friend in conversation. -"It's not half bad, you should check it out."-
-"Ana, may I ask you a question?"- Inquired Heather. -"Sure, what is it?"- Unknown wondered whatever could be on Heather's mind. -"Are you aware of Daemon's presence in the room?"- she whispered. Her friend nodded. -"Then why are you so calm?"- Unknown took a glance of her surroundings and looked back to Heather, who was eager to hear an answer. -"I can be calm if I want to, you know"- Joe snorted and held back some giggles. -"I can! Also, my life doesn't revolve around my attempts of getting Daemon's affections"- Daemon gave an incredulous look to the blue wizard. -"Whatever!"- Unknown stormed out the room.
-"What's up with Ana?"- wondered Heather. -"She's trying to prove a point or something. Girls are weird."- explained Joe. Heather gave him an annoyed glance. Blade and Daemon remained silent.

Stinky rushed into the kitchens looking for HVK. They were playing hide and seek with nerf guns. At the sight of red hair she shot the foam darts. Havock wasn't there. The little foam darts stuck to Hama's hair. The hammer bearer and WereLuna were eating pizza and talking about girl things. Mostly about a certain boy named Matt.
-"For the love of hammers! Stinky, why are there nerf darts on my hair?"- Inquired Hama. -"Eh… I thought you were someone else… Hey girls! What 'cha up to?"-
-"We were talking about my last date with Matt."- Explained WereLuna, rather eager to talk about the event. -"Oh… cool… I gotta find HVK though… he owes me a soda… We'll talk about dates later! I PROMISE!"- The random knight shouted as she left the kitchens in the chase of her friend/boyfriend or whatever they were. No-one at the HQ was entirely sure what their relationship status was. But that was the appeal of their ship. They were lovers as much as they were pals.
-"Relationships around here are weird. But they are so much fun. Keep on talking about your date, don't leave out any details"- said Hama while retrieving the foam darts from her hair. The girls proceeded with their conversation.

Luna and CantZ entered the media room. They were about to play a very important match of Zombie Smash with Tairon and Righteous. Who were there waiting for them. Luna jumped on Tairon. -"Surprise attack!"- she exclaimed. -"Whaaaaaa!"- uttered the young wizard boy. -"Hehe, you are far too nervous kid."- mocked Righteous.
-"Let us begin our gaming session without mocking the young one, Righteous. Even if that was a pretty silly reaction."- murmured CantZ. -"I can't tell if you're trying to help me or if you're making fun of me as well"- confided Tairon as he pushed back Luna. The little ninja girl smiled and said: -"No-one ever knows what CantZ really means. I tell ya, I've tried. Let us play! We're so gonna kick your buns! Right CantZ?"- the dark cloaked knight nodded.
The game was getting interesting, flashes of light came from the screen. Everyone was very concentrated on the game. As it was rather scary, they all were left startled when the door suddenly opened. Feykro had entered with some hot chocolate cups, it was her turn for serving hot beverages.
-"Oh my stars! Are you ok friends? Did I scare you?"- She wondered. -"We're fine. Is that for us?"- Inquired Righteous as the game was being paused. Feykro nodded and everyone grabbed a cup.
-"I am trying to learn your hot beverage drinking custom. I decided to make a drink recipe of my own. But I still am not accustomed to the ingredients we have at hand. The drink you are having consists of milk, chocolate, sugar, salt, sprinkles, cream, hot sauce and banana peels…"- as the alien lady explained the recipe everyone spat their drinks, save for CantZ, who was used to strange foods as he had to survive the nuclear holocaust with little to nothing for food.
-"What's wrong?"- asked the extra-terrestrial girl. Luna took it as her duty to explain the earthy custom of hot beverage making for Feykro. Both girls exited the media room. CantZ sighed: -"You should be thankful for what you get. Sometimes I'd have even worse things to eat. You can't be picky in the midst of starvation, you know."- They resumed the game without Luna.

At LD's office sat both the lieutenant and Scel. Both boss ladies were busy trying to make the shift schedules, the training schedules, the cleaning schedules, a lot of schedules were being done...
-"Man, I'm bored of thisss cumbersssome tasssk!"- complained the almighty boss. Snakey slithered through the papers unaware of the conversation its owner was having. -"We'll be done soon. Look, let's figure out who's giving the tours this weekend for the new knights then take a tea break."- compromised LD. They really needed to figure out things quickly or they would have more to do next week.
They heard a knock on the door. -"Who interruptsss my private moment with the lieutenant?"- jokingly asked Scel. From the other side of the door, they heard a not so familiar voice say: -"I'm sorry if I bother you. I was trying to look for the weapon storage room and I think I got lost. My apologies if I have interrupted you..."- Scell had a deja-vu feeling after listening to those words. Those, were the same words she had heard so many other new knights utter before. The fortress, after all, was a maze to the unaccustomed visitor. -"Come in, if you dare~"- said Scell in a teasing manner as Snakey opened the door.
Shadow Sky entered the premises to find two women sitting at a desk surrounded by mountains of paperwork. A huge window at the background provided light to the whole place.
-"The weapon storage room is two doors to the left. If you don't mind we have a lot to do. Like find out who's going to give the tours so people like you don't get lost anymore."- Stated LD coldly. She didn't seem in the mood to waste time. -"Don't be so harssssh on the boy dear. I remember when you too asssked that sssame quessstion. You looked ever sssso adorable with that confusssed expresssssion on your face."-
As Shadow Sky tried to take his leave, he bumped into Unknown, who was rushing to meet LD. The blue wizard apologized and Shadow decided to stay to see what was she up to. -"To the Nightosphere with what Daemon thinks! I can do other things apart from chasing him around! I have other interests!... Right?"- she bursted and looked desperate for corroboration to her theory from the two ladies. They merely nodded with disbelief in their faces. -"I don't always chase that man, do I?"-
-"You do sseem rather preocupied of hisss whereaboutsss thessse dayss…"- was Scel's response. Dein merely sighed. -"I wanna do other things! Make sure he, and everyone else knows I am not only a silly stalker fan-girl!"- explained Unknown.
-"Tell you what, take care of the new knight tour shift and maybe that will help out."- negotiated LD. -"You got yourselves a deal! By the way, who's the lad behind me?"- agreed the wizard.
-"That lad is Sssshadow Sssky, you may ssstart the tour with him"- explained Scel with a grin on her face. Shadow realized they were talking about him, his eyes widened but he stood there, unsure of what to say or do. Unknown was utterly embarrassed, what would the new guy think of her after the scene she just made?

UC and Chaos walked to the kitchen trying to find something to eat after their training. They found Luna and Feykro making hot chocolate and Hama and WereLuna talking about the pixie strangling season. The girls greeted the hungry knights and they greeted back.
-"Lee, you gonna join the pixie strangling team next month?"- asked Hama as UC began preparing a salad.
-"I am not very fond of sports that promote violence toward sentient or non sentient creatures. I suppose there's nothing wrong with watching though. It is a custom of Ooo, so there's nothing I can do to change it. I will cheer for your team and hope the pixies don't get too hurt."- was his response.
-"Pfff! The pixies never get hurt. And they always return from their dimension after the game. Sometimes you are too kind to those vile creatures."- Interrupted Chaos as he sliced some cheese for his sandwich. Lee sighed and decided not to argue with his friend.
-"Luna, can you make one of those hot chocolate beverages for me? They look good."- Asked Neverthrive before giving a bite to his sandwich. -"Sure! Anything for ya. I'm sorry I still can't remember what I had to tell you. But I'm still working on it!"- Said Luna as she handed him a cup of hot cocoa.
-"Luna… what is this about a "thing "you have to tell Neverthrive? I've been hearing much about it since I arrived. "- inquired Feykro. -"I wish I knew Feykro, I wish I knew…"- replied everyone in the kitchen at unison. This on-going mystery had been baffling everyone's minds for 2 seasons already. They had began to lose hope on ever knowing whatever "it" was. UC left the kitchens after finishing his salad. He wanted to be alone with his thoughts for a while, meditate perhaps.

Unknown and Shadow Sky were nearly at the end of the tour. They were passing the great hall, moving towards the kitchens.
-"So… You're a pirate/gypsy/secretary/wizard and your boyfriend is a demon? My apologies, I am confused…"- Sky tried to understand all the blabbering Unknown had been doing during the tour. But it was proving futile, so much information in so little time.
-"What I am is irrelevant (also too hard to explain). What you need to know is that I am a frost wizard. Also, Daemon is not my boyfriend. I terribly fond of him, but he is unable to reciprocate as he has no emotions."- Explained the young lady. -"Then why do you bother liking him if you know it's useless?"- Shadow was giving up in understanding the strange knight. Unknown was silent for a moment. Why did she pursue Daemon actually? She stood there looking vacantly at Sky. The poor lad wondered if he had struck a nerve on her and was about to apologize when she replied to his question. -"Because I have hope. I know that he needs me as much as I need him. Maybe it all sounds silly to you, but I somehow feel that I'll be able to presence the return of his emotions."- She smiled. -"Thank you for sharing your story with me, Miss Unknown."-
-"You don't have to thank me. I should be thanking you for being willing to listen. Now, let us have some pie, what say you?"- offered Unknown. Shadow Sky nodded in response and they headed to the kitchens. They met with the knights who were hanging there already and they all had a jolly good time. New knights were always welcome, they became a part of the family the moment they stepped into the HQ.

My headcannon is that Scell only hisses while talking to take the piss. She's merely joking around and talks perfectly fine when she wants to.
I... should be reading for class right now... but I had no motivation to do anything else than writing xD
